iPhone XS dan XS Max launch

From the videos on display, the iPhone XS and XS Max look elegant with a sturdy stainless steel band or termed “surgical-grade”. The front is wrapped in glass which is claimed to be the most resilient compared to all smartphones on the market today.

IP68

iPhone XS and XS Max are available in three colors, namely gold, silver and gray. One of the enhancements of the previous series was the water and anti-dust certification which increased to IP68.

“This means that users can sink the XS iPhone into water with a depth of two meters for three minutes,” said Apple Senior VP Marketing, Philip Schiller, on the stage of the launch of the Steve Jobs Theater, United States.

Philip Schiler boasted a variety of liquids had been ejected into the iPhone XS and the cellphone was still functioning. In fact, when the beer spills, the user is claimed to not have to worry.

XS iPhone comes in two screen size variants, namely regular and Max. Both carry a bezel-less design like the iPhone X, but the difference is the screen size.

Great Audio Visual

The iPhone XS has a 5.8-inch screen, while the iPhone XS Max has a larger screen with a size of 6.5 inches. Even so, the screen quality is equally classy with Dolby Vision and HDR10 technology.

iPhone XS and XS Max carry the OLED Super Retina screen with a density of 458 ppi. The iPhone XS screen has a resolution of 2,436 x 1,125 pixels with a density of 458 ppi, while the iPhone XS Max screen has a resolution of 2,688 x 1,242 pixels. In addition to visual problems, the audio aspect is also thought through carefully. The iPhone XS and XS Max use stereo speaker technology, so there is no need to connect the phone with portable speakers.

A12 Bionic processor

In terms of performance, the iPhone XS and XS Max increased their education by relying on the A12 Bionic processor. The processor is the first to use 7nm chips with 6.9 billion transistors.

If described, in one processor there are 4-core GPU, 6-core CPU, and Neural Engine. Each A12 CPU core is claimed to be able to run a program 15 percent faster than the A11, while its GPU is 50 percent better. This specification supports the features of the iOS 12 operating system that are heavily involved in the implementation of Augmented Reality (AR), Machine Learning (ML), Memoji, and the use of Siri digital assistants.

Dual Camera with Smart HDR

Turning to the camera sector, the iPhone XS and XS Max use dual modular (dual-camera) on the back. Both 12 megapixel resolution cameras, one with wide angle lenses and others for telephoto. Each camera has an optical stabilizer (OIS) and a 6 element lens.

Openings are F / 1.8 (wide angle) and F / 2.4 (telephoto) which can do optical zoom up to 2x. On the front side, the user can selfie with a 7 megapixel camera. The sensor is claimed to be faster and the opening is F / 2.2.

With Image Signal and Neural Engine technology, selfie results can be maximized. The camera feature that is highlighted is “Smart HDR”. Users can shoot four photos in a row without any shutter lag at all. So, no need to worry when you want to take a moving object.

Dual SIM

Another impressive thing about the iPhone XS and XS Max is the battery. The XS variant has a battery that is claimed to be 30 minutes longer than the iPhone X, while the iPhone XS Max lasts 90 minutes longer than the iPhone X.

Like the leaked ones, iPhone XS and XS Max also support dual SIM cards, aka “Dual SIM”. Both can be equally active or termed “Dual SIM Dual Standby”. The DSDS consists of one standard physical SIM and one electronic SIM song or “eSIM”. Especially for the Chinese market, both SIMs can be both physical licenses.
