Xiaomi Mi 8 Youth Officially Launched, Price 1,399 yuan

In June, Xiaomi launched the Mi 8 flagship in three variants. Each is a regular variant, Mi 8 Explorer Edition, and M 8 SE. Now, the Chinese cellphone manufacturer has spawned a new Mi 8 variant, the Mi 8 Youth. This variant is the cheapest compared to the other Mi 8 versions, starting at 1,399 yuan.

Xiaomi Mi 8 Youth comes with a shiny body that is available in three colors, namely Dawn Gold, Fantasy Blue, and Deep Gray. The design language is more or less the same as his brothers. Xiaomi Mi 8 Youth carries a 6.26-inch screen with Full HD + resolution.

The aspect ratio is 19: 9 and has a bangs (notch) on the top side of the screen. Its performance is supported by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chip, paired with a Kryo 260 CPU and Adreno 512 GPU for graphics, as compiled Wednesday (09/19/2018), from PhoneRadar.

Internal capacity can be selected between 64 GB of 4 GB storage RAM, or 128 GB of 6 GB RAM. There is also a microSD slot to increase storage capacity. The rear camera of the Xiaomi Mi 8 uses a dual module (dual-camera) that matches a 12 megapixel resolution sensor and 5 megapixels.

There is also artificial intelligence technology (AI) to improve the results of photos, supported by f / 1.9 aperture lenses. Selfie needs are filled with a 24 megapixel front camera with f / 2.2 openings. Xiaomi Mi 8 Youth has also supported face unlock to unlock the cellphone.

However, there was no Infra Red sensor found on Mi 8 Youth, as embedded in other Mi 8 variants. Xiaomi Mi 8 runs with the Android Oreo 8.1 operating system. The interface uses MIUI 9.6 and is promised that it will soon be updated to MIUI 10.

Other specifications of this middle to lower class cellphone include a 3,350 mAh battery and VoLTE connectivity. The price is priced at (4GB / 64GB), 1,699 yuan (6GB / 64GB), as well as 1,999 yuan (6GB / 128GB).
