This week, Oppo inaugurated the F7 which is the latest smartphone from the F series. Oppo F7 is the successor of the previous product, F5, with a number of enhancements and new features. One of the upgraded sectors is the AI processing that now not only works for the front camera like the F5, but also on the rear camera for the purposes of scene recognition.

Not only that, the performance of Oppo F7 was presumably higher than F5. Infocommworld had tested this phone in launch event in Mumbai, India, and run a brief benchmark with GeekBench 4 application.
Oppo F7 version of 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage (CPH1819 model number) tested by geekandtech.com resulted in a score of 1,522 points for single core test and 5,850 points for multi-core test.
The value is greater than the Oppo F5 version with 4 GB RAM and 32 GB storage (CPH1723 model number) contained in the Geekbench database with a score range of 900 points for single core and 3,900 points for multi-core. Oppo F7 is available in two differentiated versions based on RAM and storage capacity, ie 4GB / 64GB with model number CPH1819 and 6G / 128GB version.
When the official introduction, the Oppo did not reveal the brand and type of system-on-chip (SoC) embedded in Oppo F7. The specification sheet only mentions that the SoC is an octa-core model with four core ARM Cortex-A73 CPUs and four CPI ARM Cortex-A53 cores, plus Mali-G72 MP3 GPU.
The CPU and GPU rows are known to belong to the newly introduced SoC MediaTek Helio P60 and equipped with AI Processing Unit (APU) specifically for processing artificial intelligence processes. Previous Oppo F7 is already widely expected to be equipped with SoC MediaTek Helio P60, the same as the Oppo R15 is also newly introduced with a time difference as high as earlier than F7.
The rest of the specs from Oppo F7 include a 3,400 mAh battery, an Android 8.1 operating system, a 6.23-inch screen (2,280 x 1,080 pixels, 19: 9), and a 25 megapixel front camera with f / 2.0 lens and a 16 megapixel rear camera with lens f / 1.8.
